(Full story)  Did you read that? or you already knew this shipmates story, holy mother the humans are having an impact on the planet.

OK, we do need to pull or heads out of our ass and get a handle on what we create which is toxic waste, garbage, commercial fishing ah hell just the way we act as individuals in business with the intent to rape for profit is having an affect on us all.  First off how stupid is it to build a nuclear power plant next to an ocean, lake and river?  I understand the need for cooling but what happens if something goes wrong and it did!  We should have never turned on a nuclear planet because we don't know what to do with the nuclear waste, it last 10,000 years! and now it's killing part of the Pacific.  The leaks at Fukushima are only going to get worst along with the meltdowns itself.  Updates on Fuki right here

It's just not the Pacific, it's water all around the globe that's being raped by humans for food, power, oil fracking, dumping of waste and irrigation is having a heavy impact on what is left.  I wrote on this before, if you want to understand the conserving of water there is no better way to learn then carrying it before you use it.  Water is going to be like gold as time moves forward.

Here is a 2013 report of Study Group on Radionuclide Science in the North Pacific Ocean (PICES, an intergovernmental scientific organization made up of Canada, China, Japan, Korea, Russia, and the U.S.) Chairman Dr. Zhang pointed out that the widespread application of nuclear science and technology and a recent nuclear power plant accident Fukushima Daiichi had led to increasing amounts of radionuclides released into the North Pacific.  In addition, the long half-life radionuclides could potentially endanger the marine ecosystem, including human health through food chain exposures.  Consequently, it is important to monitor the radiation exposure level and assess the effects of radioactive substances on marine ecosystems in the North Pacific waters.   Full Report

I know we are not all idiots for we would be long gone by now but because the greed (set of beliefs that guides the actions of a person or group) of money and to save it sure gets us all off course and has a hard impact on how we raise our food, fish, mine, drill, farm and treat one another along with all living things on Earth is showing you as a society the monetary system sucks.   A little intro of the man and his home studio featuring David Byrne (former Talking Heads) then at 2:30 we go into the theme here, that is to snap out of it as a whole and care for all living things here or we to will get wasted.  For the elite who think they can live underground, well that would be like living on Mars, you have fun!

 Started getting into this with the disaster of Fukushima (all over the news) and radiation dumping from the plant into the Pacific ocean.  Well just like a paper trail there is no end to disposing of toxic and radioactive waste on the planet worldwide.   This has been going on for decades and to think the ones in life who believe their top of the food chain, well it rains on you also.  No amount of money will let anyone hide.  The planet is a finite place, not limitless, unlike the universe. What we put out there will show up and come back to haunt us all.  In time which is already here, the food from the oceans is tainted and get ready to wear a moon suit when going to the beach.  Our economic world has caused this and we're all in the same boat, from the wars (since WWI) of chemical weapons our industrial expansion and demand for energy, we're all to blame.  But to deliberately dump toxic and radioactive waste to save money is a crime against humanity, where the ones who decided this, your future generations will be affected unless you plan life for them on Mars.

Wow, what's here (much to learn) barely scratches the surface, no one is safe from any of this.  The actions are inexcusable and life threatening of all inhabitants of Earth.  Toxic and radioactive waste dumped halfway around the world from someone's home or dumped halfway out into the oceans is going to show up on your dinner plate and find it's way onto shore.  What were any of these people responsible thinking?   Too late, they didn't think, but only of the money and it's still going on!

 This documentary was shown on German and French TV but not in England.  For obvious reasons, the English don't want anyone to see it.  This is the English version which we hope you will mirror and call attention to.  It discusses the effects of sea dumping of radioactive waste on the health of people living on the local coast, like the Irish Sea and the Baltic Sea, which is the most radioactive sea in the world.

The documentary focuses on the British sea dumping in the English Channel Hurd Deep about 12 miles north of the Channel Island of Alderney.  Alderney is also subject to releases to the sea from the French Nuclear Reprocessing Plant at Cap de la La Hague 12 miles East of the small island.  Prof Chris Busby who was consulted on the health effects of this marine radioactive pollution visits the island with the producers and makes measurements of contamination on the beach.  Busby originally visited the island in 1998 with Jersey MP Stuart Syvret and found an excess of brain tumors and also general cancer mortality which was written up as a Green Audit paper and became part of a BBC news story at the time.  They were both chased off the island. Manfred Ladwig manages to get Dr John Cooper, head of the UK radiological protection organization, the HPA, to admit that they balance childhood cancer cases against the advantages of cheaply disposing of nuclear waste.

Cooper also agrees that his position involves a conflict of interest since he is head of HPA which takes advice on radiation protection from ICRP.  Cooper is on the ICRP committee. He, therefore, takes advice from himself.  We also hear from Prof Richard Wakeford, ex-head of research for Sellafield, but now an "independent" expert, also on ICRP, who tells us the coastal child leukemias were caused by "population mixing". How long do we have to be subject to advise from these clowns?  Prof Busby asks YouTube to kindly leave this alone since he was part of the production and has the right to upload it.

Detroit Toxic Mountain

 A massive cloud of black dust that swept across the Detroit River into Windsor, Canada this week has been linked to piles of petroleum coke, a by-product of tar sands oil illegally stored in Detroit by Koch Carbon.  Though much has already been said of the tar sands oil industry, which is currently experiencing a boom and has spurred several high-profile pipeline expansions across the US, the accumulation of the petroleum coke, commonly referred to as pet coke, along the Detroit riverfront went largely unnoticed until this week. (July)  A dust cloud which flew over Detroit and into Windsor was found to carry elevated traces of lead, sulfur, zinc and vanadium, which is possibly cancer-causing in humans in prolonged or elevated exposure, according to the International Agency for Research on Cancer, a France-based organization.  The US Department of Health and Human Services and the US has not yet classified whether vanadium is carcinogenic.

Chemical Weapon Munitions Dumped at Sea

 Between 1918 and 1970, the U.S. alone dumped CW agents in waters worldwide on at least 74 occasions.  These disposals were no small undertaking, taking one fair example from this tour, in 1945 the U.S. military dumped 1,154 55ga drums of arsenic trichloride, 375T of adamsite smoke candles, 75,852 4.2in distilled mustard shells, 56,000 smoke canisters and 23,000 smoke projectiles.  This represents only one of dozens of dumpings conducted off the U.S. coast.  While some dumping operations were carefully undertaken, including the keeping of detailed records; other dumping operations were done haphazardly with no or minimal written accounts of the disposal locations, quantities disposed or depths.

So far the staff at the James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies have located and chronicled 127 locations where either human exposure to or disposal of chemical weapons agents and or munitions have occurred.  We are virtually certain there are more disposal sites requiring attention hence we present this material in hopes of garnering further interest into this subject.  Through this tour, we hope to highlight the global nature of this problem by showing you example disposal sites located around the globe; in locations ranging from the Bay of Bengal to areas west of San Francisco.

Somali Pirates Resisting the Dumping

 Published on Sep 10, 2012 Toxic, Nuclear and Industrial waste dumped off the Somali coast by private interests. Tankers and cargo ships from USA, Europe, Russia and Asia, were met with heroic resistance by Fishermen and local Militia's trying to protect the shoreline and the health of the population.  But of course here in the west, we didn't hear about the dumping of waste we only heard about how armed thugs were impeding commerce on the high seas.  We will watch this unfolding situation with open eyes now.  Go Somali Pirates

The Place You Must Always Remember to Forget

 Documentary on Underground Storage of Nuclear Waste.  Outlines the pros and cons of this method of storage for the tons of waste produced by the Nuclear Power Industry.  Interesting the most difficult threat to mitigate is the human one.....*sigh.  Great Footage, Creative Commons Universal 1.0 Shows building of repository and internal workings at the plant.  Spooky Film!  When and if we stop nuclear power we are going to need a lot of repositories like Onkalo, (Hiding Place) Perfect name but an imperfect solution.  The guy from the Finish Nuclear Authority reminds me of Dr. Strangelove!
